C2SM has published a new version of their Data Management Recommendations, which focus on large data sets typically produced from weather and climate models, but are applicable to other types of data as well. Highlights include lists of best practice recommendations and common pitfalls.
CMIP7 output is beginning to arrive on Earth System Grid Federation (ESGF) nodes. For a first look, monthly variables from a few models are available in the C2SM data pool.
Output from the EUR-12 domain of CORDEX-CMIP6 has been sourced from DKRZ and ESGF and is available in the C2SM data pool. Prepared data includes hourly output for hydrological Switzerland (pr, hurs, huss, ps, sfcWind, tas) and daily output for EUR-12 (pr, tas), remapped to a regular lat/lon WGS84 grid. Concatenated historical + ssp monthly output (pr, tas) is also available. For additional variables/aggregations, submit a request here.
